The Stradalli Napoli is made from the same 100% 3k carbon fiber as used in our most popular frames. With the tensile strength of 50 tons per square cm, and an exterior weave of 3000 weaves per crossing (3K), the Napoli will be one of the quickest yet comfortable road bikes you have ever ridden.

While maintaining increased pedaling efficiency and preserving the lateral stiffness of the frame,  the Stradalli Napoli offers more horizontal deflection providing more comfort. The curvature of the top-tube and seat-stay allow the frame to flex in a direction that provides a softer, more forgiving ride. Yet because the bike is still built around a BB30 bottom bracket and over-sized tapered head-tube, the performance characteristics are preserved.

BB30: There is a lot of buzz about the “new” BB30 standard, but the first thing to clarify is that the design is anything but new. We can trace the BB30 origins back to 1993, but its benefits today are more relevant than ever: BB30 provides a significant increase in torsional stiffness (pedaling efficiency) while reducing weight and maintenance needs (easier to service – longer lasting bearings). BB30 is a tried and true system offering extraordinary power transfer efficiency in a simplified design.

This BB30 frame also accepts an adapter sleeve that allows the frame to be used with any standard crank that utilizes a threaded bottom bracket. (Adapter sold separately). This adapter is needed for use with Campagnolo and Shimano cranks. 

Headtube:

Tapered headtubes further improved the already advanced carbon frame technology with substantially increased front-end stiffness without additional weight. Some of the highest quality carbon frame manufactures pioneered the oversized headtube approach to deliver a solid feel during out of the saddle efforts and high speed descents. A stable front on a road bike is not only a nice to have performance feature but a vital safety bonus as well.
